Design-Build Services
Acella Construction Corporation offers design-build
services to those clients who would like a single source to
design and construct their project. This approach has been effective
for clients who desire to have the project constructed in the
most expeditious manner, knowing the final cost and schedule
for the project delivery prior to completing the design documents.
The design-build approach has proven to be a method to control
design costs by one source managing both aspects. Our design-build
services include the following:
- Conducting strategic alignment with talented and reputable
design professionals including architects, structural engineers,
civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers,
design build subcontractors and other various consultants
to collectively provide complete design-build projects.
- Appointing a team leader for the interaction with the
client
- Preparing a cost estimate and proposal for the design
and construction of the project based upon preliminary design
criteria and schematic layouts.
- Maintaining standard design procedures for:
- ascertaining the program requirements
- preparing the various levels of design documents
- code analysis and compliance
- coordinating the various design disciplines to ensure
a well coordinated project
- construction details for construction
- Providing a proposal and cost estimate for the project
at schematic design levels
- Managing the construction with the same approach as Construction
Management or General Contracting but with the mindset that
it is a design-build process

dealing with the numerous designers, consultants and contractors.
