Acella Construction awarded project for

Outer Cape Health Services

Norwell, MA. (November 21, 2011)— Acella Construction announced today that it had been selected by Outer Cape Health Services to manage the construction of a new project on Harry Kemp Way in Provincetown.  This is the 2nd phase of the project which will add more than 6,800 sf of new space to provide critical care at the facility.  The total size of the project is approximately 16,000 sf., which includes the new addition as well as major renovations to the current facility.  Included in the new and updated services, which will be expanded, are additional space for urgent care, x-ray facilities, mammography, and in-house dentistry.  This project, which was designed by Trapani + Associates in Weymouth, MA., will be completed on an aggressive schedule to allow for an opening in the summer of 2012.  This phase was made possible by a $3.6 million federal stimulus grant awarded in October, with $1.9 million in additional construction and the rest going for equipment.

“Acella Construction is excited to be selected to build this project,” said David Dirubbo, president of Acella Construction.  “We understand the critical nature of this type of work, and plan on aggressively managing the process to ensure that once completed, the residents of the Lower and Outer Cape will have access to the best health care facilities in the region.”

After the successful build out and completion of the project in Westborough I thought it was time that I express my gratitude and appreciation. This successful project and the parties that were involved have raised positive attention in the area where the work performed. The quality of work and attention to details and getting it right was appreciated and noticed. Your Superintendent was an invaluable resource and partner in this endeavor. His accommodation of the client in the field did not go unappreciated.
