BROCKTON and NORWELL, MA, ISSUED MAY 20, 2014…Acella Construction Corporation, a construction management firm serving the region for more than a decade, had a chance to congratulate the team at Village Pediatrics recently at the facility’s official Grand Opening held Saturday, May 3.

Acella recently completed the new Village Pediatric Center, on which they served as Construction Manager. The new facility, located at 156 Pearl Street, Brockton, celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, May 3.

The 10,000-square-foot building houses the new offices of Crystal Rainville, MD; David Howell, MD; Yarelis Matos, Psy.D.; Charlotte Rydberg, PNP; Mary Catherine Finn, PNP; Christine Lattuada, PNP; and Desiree Gillpatrick, LICSW. The state-of-the-art facility also includes a brand new youth and family fitness center and 10 examination rooms. According to Acella Senior Project Manager Ryan Klebes, Acella worked on this $2-million-project under the design-build mode, and partnered with JACA Architects of Quincy and civil engineering firm J.K. Holmgren Engineering, Inc.

The grand opening celebration included appearances by former Patriots players as well as refreshments, a moonwalk, balloons, face-painting, and a chance to win a genuine NFL Patriots autographed football. Former Patriot Steve Grogan was among the celebrities in attendance, who signed autographs for the guests. Village Pediatrics serves the healthcare needs of children from birth through 19 years of age.

Dave Dirubbo, president of Acella Construction, said, “Village Pediatrics is a wonderful organization that plays a critical role in the community, especially for the benefit of children and families. We are proud to have worked with Dr. Howell and his team on this new facility, and we congratulate them on all the important work they have done, and will continue to do in their new home.”

Working with Acella was great. They were always available to answer my questions and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were very flexible and patient and worked around our working schedule – sometimes coming in very early in the morning. Their work turned out wonderfully and they even painted a large wall that was not part of the scope to get the whole space looking shiny and new. This was my first renovation project and they made me look good! I would highly recommend Acella.
