BROCKTON, and NORWELL, MA, ISSUED NOVEMBER 24, 2014…Acella Construction Corporation (www.acellaconstruction.com), a construction management firm serving the region for more than a decade, recently donated 30 jackets and many other articles of clothing to the Brockton campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System.

The company as a team annually determines a worthy organization to donate to, and this year they selected the VA.  Although the donation initially started as a coat drive, in collaborating with the VA Acella realized that they need more than just jackets, and so the effort was expanded into a clothing drive.

Acella Construction intends to make this donation an annual tradition.  All employees of Acella contributed to the effort.

“It feels good to do something for others, and especially for those who have done so much for our country,” said Dave Dirubbo, president of Acella Construction.  “Our whole company got behind this initiative, and we are glad to be able to give back in this way.”

Working with Acella was great. They were always available to answer my questions and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were very flexible and patient and worked around our working schedule – sometimes coming in very early in the morning. Their work turned out wonderfully and they even painted a large wall that was not part of the scope to get the whole space looking shiny and new. This was my first renovation project and they made me look good! I would highly recommend Acella.
