MIDDLEBORO and PEMBROKE, MA, ISSUED JUNE 17, 2019…Acella Construction Corporation, a leader in construction management throughout greater Boston, today announced that Christine Mercier, resident of Middleboro, MA, has joined the firm as Controller.
In this role, Mercier will lead the company’s accounting department, guiding the firm and ensuring appropriate financial positioning as it continues on its high-growth trajectory. She will review financial statements and oversee the human resources area including payroll and employee benefits, while working with HR to establish and communicate human resource policies. Mercier will also be responsible for audit preparation and cash management oversight.
Previously, Mercier has worked in the construction industry dating back to 2006, developing her skills in accounting operations, accounting best practices, payroll, budget and cost control, and staff development. She has completed a financial accounting program at Northeastern University, and holds a notary public certificate and bookkeeping certificate (HCT).
